Haha.. i've only been tru' 1 sem and yet i'm already rejecting it.
Well... work and school... tiring indeed.

realised from my archives that
all my entries ever since Aug 2007 were mostly happy events.
No longer upsetting ones.
No more heart-wrenching, love-hate, true life stories.
It's not as though I've been living happily ever after.

Of course, there are still moments of unhappiness.
cries, heart aches. but nevertheless,
i've decided not to blog 'em down.

Nothing in life is always smooth sailing either.
Plus, my r/s can cause tonnes of complications to explain
so, i jus wan to keep it low low low profile still.

Was browsing tru' my archive entries over the years.
How much hatered and heart-aches i bore then and now still.
It came across to me that there seems to be more unhappy entries.
This has in fact led me to think about my future blog entries.
I guess, I should post more constructive entries rather than negative ones.
Else, I guess, it would look like I had lead a sad life all the while.

WAH. I finally manage to get 90% close to what i wanted.

I've managed to change the colors. but some how.. the font squeezed together.

so i've decided to return back to the very first version.

Will try to:

1) Remove borders
2) change font size and colors
3) allow sufficient spacing for text.

Well...
Decided to say goodbye to the previous blogskin.
as certain big pictures can be kinda restricting.

Hence, have changed a new blog skin.

Opting for simplistic looking blog.

One thing that keeps bugging me up till now is the font size and the color.

It keeps on differing from the preview!
Initially it was the borders. So i went to delete away ALL the borders html codes.
but font size and colors....
I just don't know how!

and now... look at the actual site.. which is the same as wat u are reading out from...



See the difference in the color and size of the headings???
One is maroon! it looks sooooo much nicer!
it's really a VAST difference.

Time for a short and quick update.

Nothing much happened.
No outings.
Basically, POCKET SUPER TIGHT!
Broke already. So din went out.

However, something kinda sweet happenend...
He bought this for me...



Kindly ignore the messy wire cables.... they are from my tv which hangs on the wall.
Self installed. so wat do u expect to happen to the wires?
LOL.

He bought a (mini) standing steamer iron for me!
How sweet can... I was just complaining one of the sundays
on how i hated ironing coz the irritating iron board, wrinkles on shirt...
all just get on my nerves!
and ta-dah!!!!!!!!
There i have.... a steamer iron... which makes ironing easier.
although wat i really wanted is the big one from taka which costs up to 100 over bucks.

Anyway, i received my I pod touch cover already...
So fugly when it's jus the case itself.
But after i fit it onto my i pod touch perfectly...

I really love the back design...

Just a quick update...

Well, I finally went to the beach last last Sunday!
1 June 08 wif him... as in jus us.
no wlny gang...

went to KM8 (tanjong beach) and relaxed there.
ordered soft shell crab salad, wings, beer (him) and lemon tea for myself...
and saw Chen Han Wei there.

Slacked... laid back, relax on the benches was so comfy.
we went to the sea to 'swim' and starting catching fish!
Catch alot of fishes. but we released them back to the sea after that.
But i only took picture of this particular one... cause it's the nicest of the many fishes we caught...







He says it's called Bat Fish... reminds me of Angel Fish...

Overall, it was a fun sunday...

Back to work... I went for course... and drew myself a 'nameplate'



Work is still alrite at the moment... I am given a manager desk... with great privacy.
Feels damn good. Hope i don't have to shift out... haha.

And guess what... last sunday, we went to sungei road and sim lim square.
I got so tempted into buyin the PSP slim... that I bought it...
just 2 days later...





Loveeeeeee it! I'm so addicted to it now... crazy taxi everyday!

and I did online shopping today. For the first time.. i already bought...

Well well...

I'm back for a short update.
I know it's supposed to be long since I just came back from my holiday not too long ago.
But disappointment sets in as I did not take as many photos as expected
due to unforseen circumstances.
My holiday was also not very much well enjoyed to the max as your's truely is
so sickeningly SICK even before i fly.

Anyway, my service with SGH ended on 17 May 08 officially. I really appreciate the gift vouchers they had shared as a farewell gift for me coz... little did they know, the vouchers did come as a good cause!

$300 worth vouchers spent on:

1) $40 - food. Ding Tai Fung dumplings. YUMMY.
2) $60 - 2 tops from DANO (office wear - nice nice)
3) $30 - Pair of heels from Charles and Kieth
4) $10 - 2 tank tops from Giodarno (with $6 top up)
5) $160 - a pair of watches! (1 G shock for him and 1 baby G for me with $95 top up)

Anyway, I did had mixed feelings about leaving the organisation then.
I wasn't regretting about my choice. I was jus starting to miss the many friendly, lovely, helpful colleagues I have there.
They are really a bunch of wonderful people who treated my with sincere care and concern.
They are really the ones who help me endure through during the last month while serving my notice.
They are the ones... who kept me going...
Espcially my shijie, Ms boon... my listening ear too. Karen, too.
Jennifer... so down to earth.. doris... my mummy... darren SEE! my team mate. my buddy. my pal. haiz.
really can't bear to leave them. even Yvonne, was like so nice to me too (probably coz she din really give me a hard time).
Even as i'm typing this now, I still miss their smiles and laughter.
A wonderful bunch of colleagues. Even Ms May, my A.M. her famous laughter...
All these just give me a huge urge to visit them.

Anyway, moving forward, today marks my 3rd day with IMH.
everything is still very simplified at this point in time
one main reason is coz.. I am NEW!
that's the privilage of a new staff. I guess i will get more work slowly.
I duno how's the future gonna be. but i dun think it will be that bad.
my whole team of HRD, are NEW colleagues.
meaning, they are also quite new to the organisation. So i hope we can work together with great cooperation.

and did i mention that my current supervisor knows my supervisor then?!?!!!
yes... my current supervisor, that is, my A.M for HRD, knows my ex supervisor, A.M for HR Staffing - SGH.
Wow. wat a coincidence yeah? well... she was from MOM too.
that explains the whole story.

Anyway, i guess, my update shall stop here... Coz i'm gonna rest my eyes soon.

I'm a gd girl ok... i MUGGED.

After exams, he was still busy wif work.
but we managed to had a day together... and he brought me to Ikea.
for a gd meal... first time eating the long awaited meatballs!
Long awaited... i've been wanting to try these for YEARS.
and we were jus fooling around Ikea...

Well, ikea meatballs was not the only treat he took me out for.
on the eve of my last paper, he brought me out for CRAB FEAST~~

on the day when i was studying while he's working, we had sushi!
well... it was good food during that period.
Guess, it's alright to indulge a lil' once in a while! = )

Alright, looking at my previous post...
I shall say i have given up hope on doing proposals.
Why?
My hard work and effort has been CLAIMED by the executive.
Guess how pissed off am I?

Look, it was my first time working on proposals.
I took it as a gd learning opportunity and brought 6 of 'em back home to work on it over the weekend.
and i manage to complete 6 despite my first time doing it.

the A.M was still making sacarstic remarks.
So freaking pissed off. It's her executive's work.
I take it on to learn. and yet u're making such remarks.
Plus, it's my first time.
And after that, my name was jus being STRIKED off and the executive jus WROTE HER NAME THERE.

My work... my effort. all goes unappreciated.
Put it in a nice way, it was just to let me have a 'feel', i can do better next time.
To state the facts, i'm jus helping her to CLEAR HER WORK.
and she still got the cheek to ask me help work on some more.
I jus left the whole pile on her desk and went home.
FREAK.

Just typing this incident makes my blood boil.
Anyway, I've tendered my resignation.
I seriously can't work with a superior who gives me no respect and zero trust.
Which boss checks their subordinate's bag of work to bring to campus???
it's ridiculous!
Ppl say i'm doing it in a moment of rashness (i have to forgo my bonus)
but how long more can i work with her w/o breaking out into argument?

I've made my decision, to leave.
I still love my colleagues but not such superior.
Hopefully, the place i'm moving on to... will be better.
and I have decided not to look back.
not to regret.

Well, exams are coming next week.
I just can't get on studying.
Probably cos it's econs.
Macroeconomics. Argh, something which my brain just rejects.

Anyway, wish me luck for the upcoming papers and my notice period.
I predict hell in front of me after exams.
And i'm still looking forward to our thailand trip.

been very busy at work.
new tasks assigned after our annual appraisal
on top of wat i'm am already FLOODED to DEATH with.

Recruitment is like never ending.
interview never stops.
hiring never stop hence data entry never ends either.
boxes and boxes of employee p files waiting for the coming JCI audit.
walk-in interview planning has become part of my portfolio already.

executive work paid at assistant rate.
can't help wondering what the hell is my executive doing then since most of her work has been 'dedicated' to both myself and my team mate.

have been looking at jobsites.
called up for an interview at IMH. haven decide if i should go as it's HRD not HRM.
plus, after 1 1/2 years, i finally get to do proposals (Executive work too!)
saw a new post doing comp & ben.
made me hesistate if i should leave.
plus, the news on MOH new plans on clusters where SGH together with NUH will be leading researches and complicated cases...

work work work... too big an organisation... to move on or not to move on....???

Work aside, exams coming! Gosh.
wat else can be better??!!
haha. looking forward to may.

an update since Jan....

attended Ms yien, my 'small boss' wedding lunch on 26th Jan.
my first time going for weddin on my own. haha.
it was at mariott. All i can say is...
food = average. service = sucked.
haha.

Well, CNY was approaching... no mood for work, no mood for sch.
plus assignment was almost due then...
anyway, CNY was purely at home.
I din go visiting. surprisingly, my parents din make a big fuss.
Dad did persuade me to go. but i insisted not.

anyway, first day of CNY Was... movie!
wanted to run a movie marathon but he suggested that we shall leave 1 for the next day...
Caught Ah Long and Kungfu Dunk.
I guess he was really nice to accompany me watch the latter
knowing that all i wanna do is jus get 'happy' watching jay chou and his moves.
The story line was definately so-so.

anyways, 2nd day, we're supposed to catch CJ7.
but we din. I forgotten why. All i remembered was that we were both feeling
XTREMELY LAZY then.
We watch tv durin CNY eve after reunion dinner and i DOOZE off.
Can you beleive it???? I DOOOZE OFF b4 12mdnite.
gosh. TV was really boring.
the only excitement was Mark Lee's comment on Channel U
where he said on national tv, if the contestent gets a 3rd No. 4,
he'll pay SGD 504 on his own.
and luck wasn't on his side. the contestent indeed opened a No. 4.
he was of coz, dumbfounded.

Other than that, watchin the little superstars singing on channel 8...
jus makes me SLEEP.
he even commented: Wat's wrong with the tv.... so boring until my dear fell aslp.
I woke up then and was in time for countdown to CNY, sitting rite in front of tv.
instantly after countdown,
We went back to slp.
haha.

whole of new year was lazing and slping. xcept for the movies.
anyway, went back to work on 3rd of new year. (Sat).
and life was back to business.
HR had our annual CNY party on 7th day.
and it was lou hei...



after that was valentine's day. 14 feb.

nothing much. he fell sick. din go anywhere.
but campus was giving free roses and balloons so long as u scribble a note on the wall of the housemen canteen which will see the lights at last today.

and so we got all excited and got more balloons with darren, my teammates's help.

it consisted to pig liver, kidney etc.
I only took the pork and pig stomach. plus of coz, the you tiao.
dip it in the soup. YUMMY.

we stay overnite there at a super no grade low class hotel.
as though we were back packing. (we weren't prepared to stay overnite)



it was too late to go back sg.

and tat was my weekend.
but i forgotten i got some kind of bad shoulder and backache since the week after CNY.
and it gotten really worse after we came back to sg.
and i got 2 days mc. with this:



serious aches. I'm still having it now. on my shoulder.
sigh. like some kinda old ah-ma.

anyway, yesterday was a pre-bday celebration for one of my colleague, Li Hoon.
she's a nice lady who often offers to give me a lift to amk.
as we all had super-filling lunch...
we bought her dougnut balls instead of cake.



and tat's pretty much all!

had a test last nite. not surprised if i fail coz it was history of management thought where all u study is history and theories.
BORING.
I did brought my textbook to study in JB while accompaning him!
