baby came to pick me up from work on Thursday
after almost an hour of wait due to the bad weather n bad traffic.
went home and headed to St James to try the Bistro & Wine Bar for my bday dinner.
to our horror, main menu stop serving when we arrived.
so we were left with the supper choices... and the small bites.

i love this so much i think i can eat and eat and eat for weeks?

Left Orchard and met up with the ladies at City Square Mall (the one at Farrer Park) for dinner.
walked around then off to prawning at Pasir Ris.
First time prawning for some.
Hope they do enjoy...
baby came to join us too.
left at about 2am.

Saturday...
was a laundry day as usual.
after laundry waited for baby to be back.
and get ready for dinner in the early evening with ma party people...!
dinner was at Mellben seafood.
CRAB. YUMMMY. CRAB. YUMMY.

and off to boiler at night.

Sunday was a wake up late day.
slack alot day.
groceries shopping day.
dinner and prawning (again!) night.

yeah. this pretty much come to a conclusion for me on hitting...

It was Dazi's bday~

we went down to vivo to grab a pressie for her.
then off to great world for dinner together.
kushinbo... abit too expensive?
but food's not too bad.
super filling dinner.
then off to Party World at Chinatown...

seriously tired.
drove the lorry home again.

and here at work.
almost vomitted blood at T.T
well.
now the headache's pumping. =(

things are better today.
not as flushed out as of yesterday.
Da Zi's bday is coming....

So is mine.

his job is not allowing him to spend my bday with me.

Busy.

Yes. been busy yesterday.
hence, didn't managed to blog.
so is today!
managed to squeeze a lil' bit time for this.
will try to make it more consistent alrite?

oh wells.
I forgot to mention that i actually drove a lorry out on the road
for the first time in my 24++ yrs of my life!

it happened tat baby had to send his bike down to the workshop
so he rode it there.
while i drove the lorry there.
following behind him.
so as to save the cab fare...
once there he'll drive and we'll get home together.
it has been helluva excitiing experience!
i got a lil' wobby and cold after the lorry drive.
imagine i didn't had the aircon on througout the entire trip!
and yeah, it was a wet nite on sunday.

so it happeneded again yesterday.
baby's bike is done.
so he drove us there.
and now i drive it back.
yesterday was more challenging!
there were more cars on the road!!!!
gosh. and best part was that CTE was closed after Braddell Exit.
imagine the congested traffic?
gosh. it really freaked me out.
but i still managed to reach home in 1 piece.
and estimated well enough the parking space. =)

i realised that i forgot to blog on wednesday before i went on leave on thursday!

and i only realised that after i left office.
oh well, was kinda busy at work.

anyway, wednesday was mundane (kinda)
and nothing nice to bring up about
except probably the fact that dazi and i had dinner together
with sharon, joe, baby jayden, ah bin and ah hao.
yes, our Lao Di Fang. =)

Thursday was...
brother's ROM.
congrats to my silly brother Jimmy Lim.
it's really time to move on to the other chapter of your life.
drop the past and move forward
embrace the future and challenges.
somehow, somewhat, i beleive this is so much better than before. =)

well, we had an early morning.
woke up and get prep for the event.
brother picked us up and send us to Jurong where his ROM is held.
after the solemnization, we proceeded to Chinese Garden for some photo taking.
thereafter, to Jurong point for dim sum buffet brunch.

head home after tat...
washed up fluffy, went to grab koi
and then off to woodlands.
met up the seller for scrumpy~~~
and went to see GF, with special koi delivery.
with Love...

i still have the white winter scrump which is still NOT here yet. =(

anyway, ya. after koi session, and scrumpy,
headed on to ikea alexander to meet up with mojo, kenny and potty.
for a belated 'bday' dinner for mojo.
walked ard ikea.
and it ended up with me shopping~
lol.

baby picked me up after that and we headed home.

Friday...
Deepavali... supposed to be baby's coy family day.
but it was eventually cancelled.
we went for haircut at my long time no visit salon, Papilio.
satisfied. we both are. =)
then we proceeded to ikea tampines.
shopped around and bought quite a number of stuff~
spent about $280 on tat trip alone...
proceeded to Giant next to buy more stuff -.-"
we ended the shopping at evening time.
went down to bishan for dinner at Sakae...
and came across wat i was told to source for:


my bday pressie to be given by colleagues.
a shared gift. with a estimated budget.
so in order to make things simple, i decided to go look out and choose
with the budget and tadah.. i found this.


hopefully they will get me this...
something which i already told my colleague to get.

LOL.

went back home to unload and received a call from my beloved dazi.
KTV time...
we head to Kbox Chinatown for KTV till 4am.
O.O
baby had to work on sat~~
i felt so bad. we K.O-ed upon reaching home...

sat was at home waiting for baby to return from work.
was busy with laundry...
baby came back and K.O.-ed shortly too.
took a nap and woke up about 8 plus...
went for dinner at Geylang...
Piggy Organ Soup. I was having craving for soupy stuff.

headed off to Mount Faber next for lomantico again.
went home after that...
didn't slpt too late.
as we were both still tired from the previous nite.

Sunday... which was.. yesterday.
woke up, went out for lunch...
off to Ion to buy shorts.
we were in search for cotton on to be exact. =)
bought 2 pairs of shorts.

then off to ikea (AGAIN).
cos we realised that we forgotten to check out an item
and bought a wrong towel on Friday.
so.. we headed back to get both.

went home after that... and we started fixing up my cupboard.
after nearly 2 hours.... tadah!

Tuesday!

I remembered reading somewhere that...
tuesdays are the busiest days of the week.
so are you feeling busy today?

haha.
i am.. some sort.
i was figuring something out for my blog this early morning.
manage to make the change (can you spot it?)

spent the whole morning doing table arrangements for coy's D&D.
now am feeling kinda giddy.
been having this feeling since ytd.
it comes about quite easily.
simply reminded me of how terrible i felt during the trip.
yikes...

am getting a lil' excited.
this week's gonna be short.
Brother's ROM on Thurs!
which means.. 3 work day week for me only.
cos Friday's P.H.
Oh yeah....
Da Zi's bday is coming up real soon.

i managed to get over and done with it!!!
i almost gave up. seriously.

anyway, let's go through it once more...

friday night...
after work, i went to Singpost to tabao some light snacks.
bb fetch me from there then we went to FSS.
we set off pretty soon after loading up the darn heavy bags.

reach woodlands custom,
'transitted' at a petrol kiosk near to the huge Jusco.
then proceed to Kota Tinggi for supper i supposed.
cos we reached there ard 11 plus.
it rained on the way.. before we reach Timotel.
our 1 nite stop over place.

well surprisingly, the room looks presentable enough...



they even had a bathtub!



next morning after breakfast, we proceeded to Mersing Jetty
and await for on board to Tioman...





the journey from Mersing to Tioman was horrid.
the waves, current, tide, whatever you name it...
was so bad. it made everyone on board sea sick.
to make it worse, the boat didn't head to our 'resort' directly.
we had to do diving when we were nearby...

Okay. so get ready and DIVE.
my first dive already scare the shet out of me.
i was the first to jump in.
so hesistant cos the water didn't looked as clear as that of Redang.
and 1st time doing it.
where got not scared?!?

and i had a pretty close encounter wif a JELLYFISH.
not small either!
with tentacles so long. omg. scary.
yes i got scared.
as we descend to the bottom...
i saw alot of sea urchins.
yeah.. all the spikes. i got even more scared...
but then i was pretty fine initially.
we had to kneel on the sand to repeat the exercises...
7 in total...
and we ended up with bruises on our knee caps.
totally inavoidable.
i also had some trouble equalizing my ears.
it got so painful. i was in 9/10 scale pain.

we got back up after sometime...
i went to puke shortly.
not too long after, we had a 2nd dive at the marine park.
this time round...
the equalization of my ears was jus as bad.
i teared... the pain was really horrid.
and wat's more... it was also murky inside...
the was a 'ship wreck' in there...
i almost came into contact with this rope with loads of seaweed/algae
and living organism living on it...
it was really face to face close...
i got pretty scared too... cos we weren't wearing any gloves
and i dare not touch it!
some of those particles look like it cuts u.
gosh... tat scared me big time too.
and after we ascend, i puke again.

i felt xtremely sick after tat.
when they did the 3rd dive at Soyak Island,
i decided to abandon it.
too sick to join in.
heard that the current was so strong the fishes can't even swim properly.

it was only after the 3rd dive then we were brought back to our 'cosy resort'
and by then i was feeling real down.
i was already telling myself to quit.
feeling sick wasn't helping.
i was so bad i couldn't help but just...

anyway, check in to the room was a nitemare.
the initial room we got looked extremely dirty.
so we requested for a change.
it look slightly better.
but then, it's actually about the same.

yeap. tat kind of condition.
as if it wasn't bad enough, there was no hot water for shower!
and weather wasn't good!
it rained heavily that night.

we woke up early next morning and went to jetty point at about 7.15am.
water was too choppy for any diving.
even the boatman said no.
cos the boat couldn't even stay still when it was tryin to 'park'.
we had breakfast and by 8am, we were all back on board again.

i was feeling better as i took nausea pills before breakfast.
so... i manage to complete my 3rd dive at Monkey Bay but again.
with extreme pain when trying to equalize my ears.
this time round...
and before that we were told that there were alot of sea urchins on the sand
of Monkey Bay.
so naturally i was really scared to descend to low.
but when i descended at my comfort level,
i was pulled down by one of the trainees.
and i almost stepped onto the sand...
and under me, there was a baby coral reef shark.

FML.
i can't imagine if i had stepped on it.
although it was small... but still!

we went up shortly after...
then rested a while before the final dive...
at the other side of Soyak again.
this time round we didn't manage to stay under water for long.
cos again the current was too strong.
and i witness wat they meant by fishes also can't swim.
was told to abort the dive as there are sea urchins floating ard due to the current.
so this dive only lasted 20 mins.

we went back to shore at 11 plus... and finally
get to bathe, packed up and checked out.
had lunch and proceed to head back.
i guess i was the happiest during this time.
cos i really can't wait to get home...
but then... i'm glad i manage to complete my dives.
and passed everything.
thanks to my dive buddies for taking care of me.

got back to sg at around 8 plus 9pm.
with few minor cuts from the first dive and
probably some blisters from wearing the fins.
anyway, i'm back and i'm happy already.

home is still one of the best place to be at. always.
